H&M apologizes over picture of dark youngster in ‘monkey’ hoodie
Retailer evacuates photo of model in top bearing words ‘Coolest monkey in the wilderness’ after judgment
H&M has apologized for an advert demonstrating a dark youngster in a green hoodie bearing the words “Coolest monkey in the wilderness”.
The advertisement started a reaction via web-based networking media, with some calling it unseemly, nauseating and careless.
The picture of the model in the green hoodie has been expelled from the H&M site; two comparative structures demonstrated by white youngsters remain.
One bears the words “Mangrove wilderness” and “Authority endurance master”; different has diagrams of different creatures including giraffes and tigers.

A representative for the retailer stated: “This picture has now been expelled from all H&M channels and we apologize to anybody this may have annoyed.”
